Story of Penrith Depot

W.J. Bale and Sons were the original owners of the Penrith Depot. They operated a fleet of 25 buses that serviced the Penrith area until 1973, when the Bosnjak family acquired the depot.

The depot later became part of Westbus. In 1984, Westbus acquired St Marys Bus Co and Bowmans Bus Service. In 1986, these services combined to run the Westbus Penrith service from the current Depot at Mulgoa Road.

At present, the Westbus Penrith Depot team includes over 140 employees and operates a fleet of 105 vehicles.
